After creating your profile and adding your location, CatChat automatically shows you cat lovers within 45 km. Browse profiles, see their experience with cats, read reviews from other members, and swipe right on people you'd trust with your cat. When you match, you can chat and arrange everything directly.

Safety is our top priority. All matches are mutual — no one can contact you without your approval. Members can earn a 'Cat Approved' badge by passing our cat behaviour quiz. You can leave reviews after every sit, report or block any user, and all data is protected with encryption and GDPR-compliant practices.

Not at all! CatChat welcomes everyone who loves cats. Many of our members are cat lovers who don't currently have a cat but want to spend time with them. You can join as a Cat Sitter, a Cat Owner, or both.

Yes! CatChat works as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Simply visit catchat.social on your phone's browser, tap the Share button, and select 'Add to Home Screen'. It will work just like a regular app — with notifications and everything.

CatChat uses mutual matching — similar to dating apps, but for friendships and cat care. You browse profiles of nearby cat lovers and swipe right if you're interested. If they also swipe right on you, it's a match! Only then can you start chatting. This means no unwanted messages — ever.

Yes! After every cat sitting experience, both the cat owner and the sitter can leave reviews. This helps build trust in the community and helps other members make informed decisions. Reviews are visible on user profiles.

You can block or report any user at any time. Our community guidelines are designed to keep everyone safe. If you experience any issues, you can use the in-app reporting feature or contact us directly.
