Our Story
CatChat wasn't built in a boardroom. It was born from love, cats, and a question no one could answer.

Female in Tech · Cat Rescue Startup
For four years, I ran a cat shelter. Every day, I saw firsthand the incredible bond between people and their cats — and the lengths they would go to for their furry family members.
But there was one question I heard more than any other:
“Where can I find a good cat sitter?”
And honestly? I never had a good answer. I couldn't recommend many people, and I couldn't provide the service myself. The existing options were either expensive agencies that felt impersonal, or asking strangers on Facebook groups and hoping for the best.
There had to be a better way.
That's how CatChat was born — not as a business, but as a community. A place where cat lovers could find each other, build trust through mutual matching and reviews, and help each other out. No fees. No middlemen. Just genuine people who understand what your cat means to you.
But CatChat became more than just cat sitting. People started making real friendships. Students new to a city found their community. Expats found people who spoke their language — the language of cat lovers. CatChat became a social platform where cats connect people.
Today, CatChat is the digital extension of that same spirit that drove Finduzz Cat Café — a community going global. From a small cat shelter to a worldwide platform, the mission hasn't changed:
“Bonding People and Cats.”
CatChat is proudly female-founded, community-driven, and 100% free. Because love for cats shouldn't come with a price tag.
